Brow glistening with sweaty anticipation,
Klaus zoomed by the pedestrian,
snatched her purse in one deft move
and rode off grinning.

Thus began his long life of crime.

I've posted this for Succinctly Yours, a meme graciously hosted by Grandma's Goulash
Each week, Grandma offer us a photo prompt and a suggested word we might incorporate into a written piece of either 140 characters or 140 words. You might enjoy checking out the humourous entries at the link below. Today's word is "glisten"...

Oh that Klaus...glad I stopped in!
Very clever, Lynette. I hope you're keeping well. I'm back in the valley and trying to get into the laid-back life of enjoying nature and the countryside again. Thanks for stopping by my posts even while I was not very active on blogger. Bless you dearest Lynette, Jo
She does have her purse on the side where he can grab it. It was so easy for him, thus initiating his kleptomania. Well done, Lynette...I laughed!
So easy to slide into a life of crime. LOL
Well done, my friend!

Hi Lynette,
Thanks for your comment on my blog....your pictures are lovely! You'll have to make sure you mark your calender for the Ivory Vintage Market on June 25th in South Surrey.
Happy day!

Hopefully he stops sliding soon. Nicely done.
Oh that darn Klaus!!!
Obviously not Santa Klaus.
I enjoyed your take! (I also went with a purse snatcher, but I decided mine would get caught...)
Poor Klause, now he's on a slippery road!
Good take on the photo!

That was really good. I find it so hard to respond to image prompts and you do it so well.

I get the sense that he love's the thrill of the act as much as the money. That could indeed be addictive.
My SY: Superpower
He couldn't be called anything BUT Klaus could he ...
I hope Klaus gets his! Great story in 140 characters.
Oh, Klaus, where did we go wrong??
:)
Clever Klaus - and great balance too! Quite the trick cyclist, in every sense:-)
Wow, the thrill of snatch and ride, an unexpected take...see that you have a career in micro fiction. :)
Cool, a true crime story in 150 words.
I'm starting to fall in love with this meme. Your story was funny and a different twist from some others I saw (I think there are 3 other of my favorites who do this meme.) And....I need to try it -- I can't even leave a comment succinctly ;>)
I just stopped by again to thank you for your fun contributions to this week's Limerick-Off.
