The Kiss Of The Sun

I took this photo along a road that led us into Oxford, England a few years ago. I have always loved the magical time of twilight when life seems to gently pause, and it becomes easy to believe all things are possible...

As the inspiring site 'Poets United' has started a new feature called Poet Trading Cards, I have printed haiku over the picture with a view of turning it into a card and trading it with others. What do you think?

I'm linking this post to the Thursday Think Tank Prompt at Poets United. For more poetry, please check out their link...

I love that time of day/evening and never thought of it as the sun's kiss. What a great idea, both the poem and the trading card.

Hi! Neat photo, but I really like your idea of taking pictures on a 'staycation' from the previous post. I'm going to try that. I know I'm late, but I wanted to thank you for your kind words when you visited my studio...sometimes time just seems to slip away. But you can be sure that after seeing your blog, I will be a frequent visitor.

Lynette,
A very delightful way to explain the Thursday Prompt! The words, 'Sun's kiss a farewell', such a true image and sometimes I do feel sad at the end of a day, especially if it has been a special day!
You have captured the kiss!
Best wishes, Eileen
