Oh wow, I love your Bucket List. Can I come too? I would only add Dharamsala. I would so love to go there. A friend of mine spent six months living and working in the monastery there. Glorious.
I would love to take you along, Sherry! The shape we're in, we might need sherpas to carry us as well as our baggage, but we would have a blast!! Better hurry up and buy that camera so you're ready...
I've only managed one of those. We saw the wonderful warriors in Xi'an, China two years ago. And what they say about them is true: all their faces are different. So happy to have seen them. They're hard to photograph, though, because the first ones exposed to air began to disintegrate very quickly, so now the excavations are housed in a covered, controlled environment. Still well worth seeing, however.
